What we collect, and why.

What you give us

If you fill in the form on this site, we collect your name, business email, business name, and, only if you choose to add them, your phone number and a message about what you are trying to fix. Nothing on that form is collected without you typing it.

We use it for one thing: to reply to you and to have the call you asked for. We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to anyone who wants to market to you.

What we record automatically

When a form is submitted we also store the IP address and browser user-agent string it came from, along with the time. That is there to spot spam and abuse of the form, not to build a profile of you.

Separately, we use Vercel Analytics to count visits. It reports aggregate numbers: pages viewed, rough country, device type and where the visit came from. It does not set advertising cookies or identify you personally.

Advertising and measurement

We run our own ads on Meta and Google. If you arrive from one of them, their measurement tags may record that the visit, and any form submission, came from a particular ad, so we can tell which campaigns are working. This is the same tooling we set up for clients, pointed at ourselves.

You can opt out of this kind of tracking in your browser settings, through your Meta ad preferences or Google ad settings, or with any standard tracker-blocking extension. The site works exactly the same either way.

Who else touches it

Three companies process this data on our behalf, and only to do the job we hired them for:

• Supabase stores form submissions in our database.
• Resend delivers the notification email that tells us a submission arrived.
• Vercel hosts the site and provides the visitor analytics.

We do not share your details with anyone else, and we do not sell personal information.

How long we keep it

Form submissions stay in our database while there is a live conversation and for up to two years afterwards, so we can pick up where we left off if you come back. Ask us to delete yours sooner and we will.

Your say over it

Email privacy@velamedia.co and you can ask us for a copy of what we hold on you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it entirely. You do not need to give a reason, and we will confirm once it is done.

We work with businesses in the United States and Canada. Depending on where you live, you may have specific rights under laws such as the CCPA or PIPEDA. The request above covers all of them, so there is no separate form to find.

Changes

If we change what we collect, we will change this page and move the date at the top. We will not quietly start collecting something new and leave this reading the way it does now.
